Jason comes to us from Trumbull Country Club in Warren Ohio, where he has served as their Head Golf Professional for the past three years. Jason grew up in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and started working at an early age as a bag room/cart attendant at the local golf course. He decided to attend Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina for their Professional Golf Management (PGM) program where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Jason met his wife Molly in 2013 while working in Cleveland and they were recently married in October of 2021. As an assistant Jason worked at several premier private country clubs including Kirtland Country Club (Cleveland) and Columbia Country Club (Washington DC) during the summer seasons. During the winter seasons, he worked at The Dye Preserve Golf Club, Jupiter Hills Club, and Loblolly in southeast Florida. Jason earned his first head professional role in 2019 when he began working at Trumbull Country Club in Warren, Ohio. These positions have helped Jason understand the importance of hard work and teamwork in developing an elite member service experience. Jason is extremely honored and excited to join the Shaker Heights Country Club team as your Director of Golf. He looks forward to getting started and building lasting relationships with the membership and staff. His vision for the golf operation is to provide exceptional member service with outstanding golf that appeals to the entire family.
